Goddess of Amnesia
Music manager, single parent, juggling life. I’ve narrowly escaped a death by mini bar. At times I suffer from selective memory & denial. At other times I forget because I’ve forgiven. At all times I’m addicted to role playing conversations in my head. I have found the perfect balance in life : I do yoga in the morning & vodka martini’s with fresh mint at night.
Armed with humor, I tackle the taboos of single Jewish parenting, especially falling pregnant out of wedlock with a non-Jewish man. A man I barley knew. With the support of the gay aesthete – now ordained as The God Father and birthing partner – I fumble my way through each snippet of life-in-labour and life-in-parenthood. A truthful insight into the politics of human sexuality.
